Engineering leader with 30 years of professional experience in electrical and power engineering. Has lead the growth of METSCO from its origins of less than handful of people to the over 60 strong we are today. Was previously a leader of a large asset management division with responsibilities for planning, smart grid engineering, reliability analysis, system studies, record management, data quality, mobility and GIS improvements leading a transformation of an existing older culture of engineering practice to a dynamic powerhouse of technical innovation and knowledge. Strong technical background in distribution, transmission and generation with leadership experience in innovation of asset management principles with specific focus on smart grid planning. One of the founders of the Health Index Methodology in utility asset condition assessment and has lead the comprehensive implementation of a risk-based investment methodology at several utilities. During his consulting career, he has had experience with about 100 well known electrical power companies around the world.

Former weightlifter and soccer player, now more of a wine lover and golfer although the skill set in the last is quite deficient. I enjoy working with people and interacting with different cultures and personalities. Travel is always a pleasure and luckily my work allows (and requires) a lot of that.
